Terms and Conditions
Warranty:
Every product we sell comes with a minimum 1 year manufacturer warranty (from date of original purchase) in the event of defects in materials or workmanship. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty service is rendered with a refurbished product.
a) The warranty manufactures provider covers for failures that are due to defects in materials or workmanship which occur during normal use.
b)This warranty does not cover damage of failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, faulty installation, improper maintenance, improper voltage supply, interference from or with other electronics devices, alteration, maladjustment of customer controls, modification, acts of nature i.e. Earthquakes ect, and service by anyone other than the respective manufacturer's service centre.
Goods Damaged in Transit:
If you receive goods damaged in transit, you must inform us immediately via email at sales@digital-picture-frame.co.uk or call 0845 0 170 869 within 3 days of receipt. We will then issue you with a Returns Procedure.
Faulty Products:
Where above a) applies, faulty items will be repaired or replaced free of charge whilst the item is covered by the warranty.
Refund of shipping fees:
Shipping fees are never refunded. Customer pays for sending back the products and digital picture frame ltd pays for sending the repaired unit or replacement product. In case of order cancellation after a product has been dispatched, and where the goods are returned to digital picture frame ltd in the conditions as described in 1-(a), the customers will be refunded the price of the item less the actual cost of shipping the product to them in the first place, irrespective of whether shipping was offered free of charge.
Refunds & Replacements
1)Under the 'distance selling act 2000', online customers have 7 working days to determine whether or not they wish to keep the goods ordered, The cancellation period begins on the day on which you receive the goods. If you do not wish to keep the product, you must contact us for a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before returning the product. Once you have been allocated a Returns Authorisation Number you must return the goods to digital picture frame ltd.
a) The goods must be returned with in 14 days of the day of authorisation. During that time its your duty to retain possession and take care of the goods shall continue until you deliver or send the goods back to digital picture frame ltd. To qualify for a refund, the item must be in stock condition i.e. as delivered with no security seal broken. The goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition.
-Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging with all components and accessories.
-Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so with out damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.
-Goods must be returned to our returns department with in 14 days from authorisation. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non faulty items after 14 days.
b) If the conditions as described in a) above are not met, we may decline to give a refund.
Full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorised only after full inspection of the goods by our returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.
Goods received back complete as new and unused and in original box and packaging including all accessories and in a re-sellable condition: You will be refunded the full invoice amount less actual cost of delivery.
-Goods received back complete as New and unused and in original box and packaging but with accessories missing: You will be refunded the full invoice price - less delivery charges and cost of accessories as listed below.
-Goods received back not in a re-sellable condition: We are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will l be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.
c) Where a) applies and conditions are met, you will receive a refund of the amount paid less the actual cost of shipping the item to you in the first place
2)You are entitled to a full refund if the goods are not provided within a maximum of 30 days beginning with the day after you sent your order.
3) If the product is believed to be factory faulty, it should be returned to the manufacturer who will repair or replace the unit as required.
Returns Procedure:
Prior to returning any product to us, you must contact us on: 08452417412 or email us at sale@digital-picture-frame.co.uk in order to obtain a return authorisation code (RMA) you will then have to follow the procedure detailed in the email that we send.
Manufactures issue RMA's and customers can expect to receive their authorisation number 7-10 days.
If you return a product claiming it is faulty, and after testing, it is found that the product is in full working order, we may charge you to return the goods back to you.
Please note: If the address you have given us has any mistake which may have prevented the delivery company from delivering the goods, we will send your purchase again and shipping will be charged again.
IV) If the product is not found to be factory faulty it will be returned to you at your expense
V) Non-faulty products must be returned with all item and accessories included within and without the products package and be in pristine condition otherwise we reserve the right to decline a refund and the product will be returned to you at your cost
Exceptions to the right to cancel:
The customer will not have the right to cancel the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software if they are unsealed by the customer. The customer will not have the right to cancel if the goods purchased were made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
LCD Screen dead pixels
Digital Photo Frame products may contain less than 10 defective pixels, which is characteristic of LCD Screens. Up to 10 dead pixels per lcd as standard in most cases of lcd screens. Screens with 10 or more dead pixels are considered faulty and can be returned. Screens with less than 10 dead pixels are not eligible for refund.
We cannot accept responsibility for products that have been miss-used, incorrectly set-up or improperly maintained. The company accepts no responsibility for injury or death caused during the use of the products.
